Independent, unbiased

Last checked: April 7, 2026. Our database includes policies from 47 registered Australian health insurers, using data sourced from PrivateHealth.gov.au.

How it works.

Three simple steps. No sign-up. No fine print.

  • Tell us what matters.

Your health priorities, your extras habits, your budget. No account needed.

  • We show you the whole market.

Prices, coverage, claims data, extras limits, reviews. Side by side.

  • Pick what fits. We handle the switch.

No double premiums, no gaps in cover, no waiting periods to re-serve.

Switching should be easy.

When you're ready to switch, here's exactly what we handle for you (and what to expect).

  • No double payment

We coordinate the start date with the new fund and the cancellation date with the old one. You won't pay two premiums at once.

  • No gaps in cover

Your new policy starts the same day your old one ends. If you need treatment between, you stay covered the entire time.

  • Waiting periods carry over

If you've already served waiting periods on equivalent cover, you don't serve them again. We confirm portability with both funds in writing.

  • We cancel your old cover

You don't have to call them. We send the cancellation request once your new cover is active and confirm it's done.

Includes 12-month price protection on eligible partner policies. If the premium increases unexpectedly, we work with the fund to honour the original quote where possible.

Prefer to talk to a real person to help guide you?

No problem. We've got someone who can walk you through it.

Free call. We do the work.

  • Hand-picked match for you
  • We coordinate the switch
  • 15–30 minute chat
  • You will receive written confirmation

Over the phone, we compare these 12 partner funds:

ahm, AIA Health, Australian Unity, Bupa, Defence Health, FRANK, GMHBA, HBF, HCF, HIF, Medibank, NIB

Our promise.

We'll only recommend one of these funds if it genuinely beats your current cover. If it doesn't, we'll tell you straight, and point you to where the right policy lives. Online, you get all 47 funds.

Your rebate. In 10 seconds.

Most Australians with private health insurance currently receive a Rebate from the Australian Government to help cover the cost of their premiums. The Private Health Insurance Rebate is income tested.

This is what the government kicks in. Every year. Off your premium.

It was impossible to find an easy way to compare every health insurance policy.

So we built it ourselves.

Every comparison site we tried showed us a fraction of the market. 10 funds. 12 funds. Always the ones paying commissions. The other 35? Hidden.

So we did the work. We pulled every registered policy from PrivateHealth.gov.au, built filters that actually work, added an AI assistant to make sense of 120,711 options, and put it all online. Free. No signup. No paywall.

If you'd rather talk to someone, we have a phone team for that too. Otherwise, here's the data. Use it.

We receive transaction fees from participating funds when we handle a switch on your behalf. The online tool shows all 47 funds regardless of commercial relationships.
